Exposing the criminal element for 3 years

Murderer Number 3

A third arrest has been made in the May 10th murder of Kedena Brown. Derrontae Philip Holmes has been charged with one count of Murder, four counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Possession of a Firearm During a Violent Crime. He has not had a bond hearing yet.

CTL has written about Holmes a number of times in the past. The first time was in April of 2013 when he was involved in a shooting after attending a party at Club Crucial on Ashley Phosphate Road. We wrote about him again in August of 2013 when he was charged with filing a false police report after shooting himself in the toe and claiming someone else shot him. We also wrote about Holmes again in August of 2013 and asked the Charleston County School District what they would do about this James Island High School athlete involved in shootings and using the “N” word on social media. Rest assured, he was not suspended or expelled, nor did he have his graduation taken away like CCSD likes to do to white kids who quote rap lyrics containing that word.

Now Holmes is charged with Murder. Who could have seen that coming?

  1. All lives matter and anyone that commits a crime should have justice served. Only God can judge. What we say are our own opinions.

    • A jury of his peers are also going going to be judging him.

  2. Yep, a jury will judge him and a judge will sentence him. Hopefully to several decades, scum like this needs to be OUT of normal society.
