Deception and Agendas

The local news is telling us two churches on James Island have recent bullet holes in them. Both are black churches, of course, so the news folks believe they are safe in implying racism probably has to be involved. The local “news” folks have failed to tell you that multiple businesses on James Island have also been shot up in the past few weeks. No, they would rather not tell you that because it sets their agenda a bit askew. It isn’t like they don’t know about those businesses being shot up. Citizens are posting the information on the social media feeds of local news outlets. They just choose to ignore the information.

The agenda of the media to incite racial disturbances is evident in their reporting today about an inmate who died at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center. Once again they have violated their own often stated policy of not putting the race of suspects or victims into a story unless it has a very specific bearing on the story. They won’t give you the race of the robbery suspect the police might be searching for at this very moment and want your help in locating, but they will tell you a “black female” was found dead at the jail. Perhaps the race-baiters in the local media would care to explain how the race of this particular woman has a “very specific bearing” on this story? Of course, if you keep up with national news you would know the local media is trying to tie this case (without any facts at all, by the way) to the case of a black woman who killed herself in a Texas jail after being arrested for acting stupidly when a police officer stopped her for a traffic violation.

Last week we reported on WCIV violating that primary rule of news reporting. They chose to report the race of the victims and the shooter when telling us about a shooting which occurred on Douglas Avenue. WCIV probably decided to get ahead of a story they thought might be problematic to their racial agenda of making white folks the bad guys. The fact that two white guys were shot by a black guy made it necessary for WCIV to tell you the white guys were at that home on Douglas Avenue to participate in a drug deal. How many times has the local media bothered to give you the details on these types of cases? Not very often. There was only one reason for them to do it in this instance. Curiously, that story failed to mention why the black suspect was at that residence.

CCSO has arrested serial offender Franklin Othell Williams, Jr. in the Douglas Avenue shooting. He is charged with two counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Possession of a Firearm During a Violent Crime.

2014 Charges:

Possession of Cocaine - Plead guilty to a reduced charge and was sentenced by Judge James “Rainbows and Unicorns” Gosnell to a $300 fine.

Note the record on the Obstruction of Justice charge related to the 2013 murder. That charge was dismissed in exchange for a guilty plea to this reduced charge. Another nice job by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
