Even More Meth Mopes

Can someone please tell us what the draw is when it comes to methamphetamine. We just don’t understand what drives seemingly normal people to use something made from deadly chemicals and, once they use it, why they suddenly think they are chemists and can cook it.

Such is the case of “Amy Burgio” of 108 Marie Lane in Summerville. She was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine by DCSO.

We searched “Amy Whitlock” and “Amy Burgio”. The only major offense we could find was a 2012 charge for Use of a Vehicle Without Permission in Charleston county. She was given a $2,130 bond, but failed to appear. A bench warrant was issued for her in June of 2013.

A fellow named Peter Ward was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana. All we could find on him was traffic tickets.
