What Does It Take
What does it take before prosecutors and judges get serious about putting a serial offender away for a long time?
The 9th Circuit Solicitor has been trumpeting their success in getting repeat offender Elliott Judon a sentence of life without parole. Let’s see what happened before they got serious about keeping this guy off the street.
Earlier this week Judon was convicted on a pending 2013 charge of Trafficking Crack Cocaine and sentenced to life in prison by Judge Kristi Harrington. It appears a 2014 charge of Trafficking Crack Cocaine was left on the table.
Let’s take a stroll through Judon’s criminal history in the 9th Circuit so we can see what a serial offender can get by with before being taken seriously. Note that Judon’s adult record begins in 1996, a few years prior to the arrival of Scarlett Wilson as the #2 in that office.

Anyone else see the irony in that 5 year sentence for insurance fraud compared to sentences in the more harmful offenses this guy committed?
After being released from his prison sentence for multiple charges of dealing crack cocaine, Judon was arrested again in June of 2011 on a charge of Possession of Crack Cocaine. The 9th Circuit Solicitor reduced the charge to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Judon was given a $250 civil fine by Judge Priscilla Baldwin.
2012 Charges:
Failure to Stop for Blue Lights - Found not guilty by a jury of idiots in Charleston County.
Trafficking Cocaine - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.

PWID Marijuana - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
Well, fellow citizens, what do you think? Did someone wait too long to get serious about Elliott Judon? Or could it be nothing more than a public relations and image rehabilitation tactic due to an election quickly approaching in 2016? That 2013 trafficking case languished from June of 2014 to February of 2015. As you can see in the record below, it wasn’t until February that the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office started filing motions of intent to seek a life sentence.
If you took the time to read through all the offenses listed above, you will notice a few other drug trafficking charges no one seemed to be too serious about when the 9th Circuit Solicitor dismissed them, the most recent in 2012.
We are glad this maggot is finally off the street for good, but we have to question just why the sudden push to get serious and trumpet it in the media when nothing seemed very serious to those folks before.
You decide what the true motive might be.

What’s really hilarious is one of the stolen vehicle charges was committed while stealing a car from Mayor Summey’s driveway when he lived on Ashby Ave.
