Jaquez Brown
We have profiled Jaquez Brown a number of times in these pages. He likes to show off his guns on Thugbook. Brown is also known as Quez Brown, aka “Webbie FreeBandzz Gmc“. Brown spent some time in juvenile detention on firearms related charges (among others), but now he’s a big boy. We noticed he was jailed again on July 15th. Brown was charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Pistol and Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Pistol. His bond was set at a total of $150,000. Given the current state of affairs in Charleston County, we have no doubt his bond will be drastically reduced if he files a bond reduction request and draws Judge James “Rainbows and Unicorns” Gosnell. He has a history with Gosnell.
This is not Brown’s first big boy arrest. In spite of the new bond law which was supposed to assist in keeping these dangerous maggots in jail by refusing bond, a bond judge set one on the latest charges. Maybe Chief Mullen and Scarlett Wilson can hold a training session with the bond judges and explain that new law to them.
In January of 2013 he was charged, along with recent Northwoods Mall ventilation victim Davin Jerome Aiken, in the shooting at Hawthorne Suites on Northwoods Boulevard. We missed his arrest at the time, but are making up for it now. Brown was charged with four counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol. His initial bond was set at a total of $450,000. In May of 2013 Brown’s bond reduction request was heard by Judge James “Unicorns and Rainbows” Gosnell who reduced the total bond on all charges to $225,000. Brown bonded out on 10 July, 2014.
In October of 2013 Brown was charged in North Charleston municipal court with 3rd Degree Assault & Battery and Interference With a School Bus Driver. We have a bit of a puzzle on this one. Brown plead guilty to both charges on 6 December, 2013. For some reason, prosecution was deferred in spite of Brown’s guilty plea. That means no fine or jail time. The case was closed on 1 April, 2014. So, we can gather from this that a well known North Charleston thug, out on bond for four counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon can assault someone and interfere with a bus driver, plead guilty and still not face any consequences. Good to know.
Brown terrorized the project known as Horizon Village as a juvenile. The last address he gave when arrested was on Realm Street, in the area bordered by Stall Road, and Midland Park Road, which is where the 40 Boiz are based. Brown is also a known Young Gunna.
Brown has posted some interesting documents regarding the January 2013 Hawthorne Suites shooting. This first document is a photo of a North Charleston police report. Note the circled paragraph where the officer indicates Brown’s co-defendant (who is also still facing charges in the shooting) Devin Riley Walker made a statement in the booking room that Jaquez Brown started the shooting. Note the comments associated with the photo in which a who’s who of CTL alumni recommend killing Walker. Oh, look, there’s the now Dead Right There 40 Boiz gang member Tyquan President advocating for the murder of Devin Walker!
Brown also posted a photograph of statements provided by the victims of that shooting at the Hawthorne Suites. Note the encouragement to kill the victims.

Brown still likes to show off the guns he keeps getting arrested for. Someone should let the bond judges know about this guy, since they obviously don’t bother to look at criminal histories or pending cases when setting or reducing bonds.

Back in 2012 the 40 Boiz were known as the 40 Gang. Apparently they never got the message on that whole “neighborhood social group” deception.

A lot of these dudes never killed a damn thing BT got felonies and still posting pics of guns drugs and a few dollars. Their to young for this and hopefully they get on the right path before its too late because I known most of them probably got children. But as I read through these comments I become just as disgusted as what I’m seeing in the pictures. The ignorance and hate is very uncalled for. Stating that they need to die is just as bad as the shit he’s doing. Yall don’t know him except for what Charleston thug life is saying. Just cause someone break the law doesn’t mean they deserve to die. These ppl are in theyre early twentys if even that old. They have they whole lives to pay bk their debt to society and make amends with their victims and god. And the crazy shit is. When I go onto a story about Caucasians cooking meth or blowing some shit up trying to cook method, burning down a house and burning a child and a whole apartment complex down leaving families homeless. CTL backs up what they are saying with the facts. Screen shots of their rap sheets say all I need to know about a person. You need to go back a reread the stories and the comments about the meth heads and molesters. You obviously have missed them and the scathing comments that are related. Actually, the comments on the articles on meth heads are pretty rough, so I’m guessing that you haven’t actually read the comments. What you WON’T read are comments from people who excuse the meth heads for not being “perfect” or for “making a mistake.” The thugs we see posing with guns, drugs and cash……they will kill or be killed, and we law abiding citizens don’t want to get caught in the crossfire any more than we want meth heads to blow up houses in our neighborhoods or mobile meth labs on our streets. We would all be better off if ALL of them were removed from the community. The problem is that the judges and solicitors will NOT hold criminals accountable within the judicial system, so the only way the community is protected is by the thinning of the herd perpetrated by the criminals themselves.
