Spruill Murder

This morning NCPD responded to a reported shooting at the Circle A convenience store at 1813 Spruill Avenue, in the neighborhood known as Chicora-Cherokee. Now we have learned that shooting has resulted in Dead Right There status for one North Charleston thug. A quick review of Thugbook tipped us to who that thug was.

Of course, we visited the Thugbook page of “Stacks A Milli” and poked around a bit. Don’t bother clicking the link. The page disappeared at about 2 p.m. Prior to the page deletion we were able to verify that “Stacks A Milli” is, in fact, a serial drug dealer by the name of Samuel Avin Coardes. He was just released from SCDC custody on July 1st. Coardes was sentenced to six years in reference to convictions for crimes committed in 2011. It looks like he got out about six months early.

Even though his friends are opining his Dead Right There status, no one has seen hide nor hair of the NAACP.

In 2011 Coardes participated in the violent home invasion robbery of an apartment in the St. Charles Place apartments on McMillian Avenue in North Charleston. Coardes was said to be the gunman who held a gun to the female victim’s head and demanded money. As usual, the 9th Circuit Solicitor demonstrated her continued misunderstanding of how plea deals are supposed to work and dismissed the most serious charges while letting the defendant plead to the least serious and dismissing a ton of others.

Let’s review all of his charges from 2011.

Assault & Battery 1st Degree - Pled guilty. Sentenced by Judge Stephanie McDonald to 6 years.

Strong Arm Robbery - Pled guilty. 6 years, concurrent.

Distribution of Crack Cocaine - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.

Assault & Battery 1st Degree - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.

Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.

Attempted Armed Robbery - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.

Probation Violation

  1. All these family members and other morons who cry “Free my #####” don’t understand that the thugs have better chances of survival in prison than out on the streets.

  3. Well that didn’t take too long! Hey - wonder if Little Miss Scarlett tries to dismiss these thugs DRT statuses too?

  5. It’s amazing how we have all theses murders, and none of the dead right there are victims. It’s like murder in the ‘hood has become a victimless crime. Except for the taxpayers, of course.

  7. As long as they’re killing only each other, who really give a crap. One less useless, violent knuckle-dragging POS off the street. I’d say it’s a win-win for the rest of us.

  9. If these idiots were like the old school Italian Mafia or the Yakuza and had some precision it would be ok that they kill each other off. However, they get in gunfights on I26, on the streets, etc. Innocent bystanders catch bullets. Also, they will kill in robberies (Marley Lion) and commit other violent crimes that involve normal people.

They are also very, very sub-intelligent. They get arrested all the time. Unfortunately, they are not imprisoned due to lack of prosecutorial will.
