Charles James Update

Welcome to our latest Charles James update. Regular readers will remember Charles Otis James III. James is affiliated with both the Young Gunnas and the 40 Boiz. He was with 40 Boiz member Tyquan “Lil T” President when Tyquan was murdered in April on Sorentrue Avenue in North Charleston. James was shot in the leg in that incident. In May James was charged by North Charleston Police with 1st Degree Assault & Battery and Armed Robbery.

James’ bond on those charges was originally set rather high, but Judge James “Rainbows and Unicorns” Gosnell came along in June and reduced the total bond on those charges to $50,000 and James bonded out on June 4th.

Now he is back in jail on a municipal level charge of Petit Larceny, with a bond of $1,092.

James changed his Thugbook name to “Chum Bucket Charlie” in an effort to throw us off. Didn’t work.

It looks like James has also made a family member angry by stealing her truck.

You have to special type of crap to steal from family, huh? Maybe his family will let him in stew in jail for a while.

  1. Maybe he was arrests for stealing the truck and his family called the police on him. I don’t see a $1,092 bail keeping him in jail for long though, especially if he was able to bail out on a $50k bond. Bondsman is just going to take that on top of what he owes. Hell of a racket they’ve all got going. Everyone making money off of the revolving door!
